Free Yankee Clipper Download - Here is a very useful tool for all
of you copy and pasters out there. Yankee Clipper is a Windows
clipboard extender/memory utility. Unlike the default Windows
clipboard where you can only copy and paste one section of text
at a time, this free software download lets you save over 200
different copy and paste sections of text. It also lets you copy
and paste pictures as well.
When you download Yankee Clipper, it will install an icon in
your system tray which is the small area at the bottom right
hand corner of your screen where the clock is located.
Whenever you copy something to the clipboard, it will
automatically sort it in to one of four categories - Text,
Pictures, Rich Text, and Url's. By default, the program will
save all of your clippings between sessions so that you can
log off and log back on and the clippings would still be saved
to your clipboard. If you want, you can set it so that all of
your clippings are automatically erased between sessions.
The major features of this software is the ability to save over
200 text entries, 20 picture images, and 200 url entries. The
best part is that there are no size limits for your clippings.
Whenever you want to use the clippings stored in Yankee
Clipper, just click the icon in your system tray and then you
will be able to access all of your saved entries. You can drag
and drop, as well a print each clipping nicely word wrapped.
Another time saving feature of this software is that it is small
enough that you can actually float it over top of other
applications for faster pasting.
