Free Email Games - Here's a cool site that lets you challenge your
friend across the country or co-worker across the office in fun and
fully graphical email games. All games are really small so download
and installation is really fast.
After you download and install the game on your own computer,
just click the "new" game button and enter the email address of
the person you want to challenge as well as some trash talk to
fire up your opponent. The game will arrive in your friend's email
as an attachment. If they decide to meet your challenge, they will
have to download the game to their own computer, make their first
move and then email it back to you. You and your opponent will
continue to trade emails with each other's moves back and forth
until someone claims victory.
This site is fairly new so their collection of games is small at the
moment - they only have two to choose from. Their first release
was ThatChess. Just like the name suggests, it's chess in your
email. Their most recent release is Email Battleship with a twist.
Instead of throwing bombs at ships, you throw mud at celebrities.
These email games are definitely a good way to pass the time
without wasting too much which is very easy to do when playing
games in your browser. They are constantly testing all of the
coding in their games, so that you do not have to worry about
